Comparing with History

In case of not using source version managing system like SVN, GIT, and so on, you can compare with the old revision through Old Revision Saving function of workbench.

  1. Double-click the eXERD file to compare and open the editor.
  2. Select Window > Show View > Other > History, then History View is opened.

  3. By clicking the renewal toolbar item, you can open the record history of input file of the currently active editor or
    by clicking synchronization button, you can always display the history of active editor only.
  4. Select one of the versions and select Compare Current with Local by right-click.
Others

Select two old revisions and right-click, then you can compare between old revisions by clicking [Compare with Each Other].

If you activate compare mode by clicking Compare Mode, you can compare old version with current version by double-clicking.

In case of Using Separate Managing Tool like SVN

  1. Open the editor by double-clicking an eXERD file to compare with the old version.
  2. Open the History View by selecting Window > Show View > Others > History

    According to the plugins used, UI can be different.

  3. By clicking the renewal toolbar item, you can open the history of input file of the currently active editor or
    by clicking synchronization button, you can always display the history of active editor only.
  4. Select one of the old revisions and select Compare by right-click.

  5. Select a revision to compare with and press OK.
  6. Compare Editor is opened.
